New President and Vice President for the European Nuclear Education Network

The 14th ENEN General Assembly Meeting was held in Geel, Belgium, on 4 March 2016. Following the elections held in the meeting, the new positions in the leadership of the European Nuclear Education Network Association are:
Prof. Leon Cizelj (Josef Stefan Institute, Slovenia), elected as new President of the ENEN Association.
Prof. Filip Tuomisto (Aalto University, Finland), new Vice-President of the ENEN Association.
Ms. Veronique Decobert, from Westinghouse Europe, new member of the Board of Governors of the ENEN Association.
Prof. Behrooz Bazargan-Sabet, from Université de Lorraine, new member of the Board of Governors of the ENEN Association.

The 8th ENEN Special Event on “E-learning and MOOCs for nuclear education and training, preparing for ANNETTE” was held on 3 March 2016. Agenda of ANNETTE-Special-Event-ENEN GA-2016.pdf
The special event included a technical visit to the GELINA linear electron accelerator and neutron time-of-flight facility, the Radionuclide metrology and radioactivity measurement facilities and safeguards laboratories, hosted by the European Commission JRC-IRMM in Geel.
