Applications are invited for a doctoral student for four years. The major research fields of the programme are:
* Nuclear engineering including new generations of nuclear reactors
* Treatment and disposal of nuclear waste
* Sustainable nuclear fuel cycles
* Nuclear safety and environmental impacts of nuclear energy
The current position is allocated for one of the research groups at Aalto University participating in YTERA (see web site).

Administrative information

Requirements to apply :
The applicants must have a MSc degree or equivalent on a subject that is suitable for the YTERA doctoral programme (see above).
Successful applicants must have an excellent command of Finnish, Swedish or English. International applicants must demonstrate their proficiency in English. If not exempted, applicants are required to attach an official language test report to their application.
